Alejandro Aguilera

I’d been over 25 years of experience in the Advertising industry. First at Lopito Ileana & Howie. Later he worked GREY Puerto Rico and McCann Ericsson, as copywriter and ACD.
In January 2007, he was appointed General Creative Director of Grey Puerto Rico.

After that Adworks and Lopito as Creative Director as well, and right now I’m a Creative Director at DDB Latina Puerto Rico.

My creative work has been recognized locally and internationally in creative festivals such as Cúspide (local festival), Fiap, Ahaa, Clio, Caribe and New York Festival, among others. In 2007, received the Grand Prix for exterior advertising. In 2012, I lead the GREY group to win its first Cannes Lion for “Hidden Messages”, a campaign for abused women in PUERTO RICO.

Recognized for creativity, strategic planning, strong leadership and project management. Traditional media as TV, graphic, out door and radio plus, and very important, the digital innovations are part of my DNA; but every single communication is always focus in results. Creativity and results can make a great couple with a well-defined strategy.

An extensive experience in a broad set of industries, including auto, retail, finance, alcoholic beverages, pharmaceuticals, telecommunications, non-profit, travel, Fast food and restaurants and beauty, among others.

My main believe focuses on teamwork, The key is to believe in every human being that works with you and give them the necessary tools. “Every mind is a complete universe and when you put all of them together you can create extraordinary things.”
